£180k Boost for Science at Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School
We are pleased to share some fantastic news regarding Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School. The school has successfully secured a £90,000 grant from the Wolfson Foundation.The Wolfson Foundation is renowned for supporting high-quality education and research projects, and this grant is a testament to the school's commitment to excellence in Science. As a Trust, we are fully committed to supporting this vision. Therefore, Insignis Academy Trust will be matching this funding with an additional £90,000.
What this means for students: This combined total of £180,000 will be used to completely modernise two science laboratories in the Central Block. Work is scheduled to take place in August 2026, ensuring that the new labs are fully operational to welcome students back in September 2026.
