What's it like working with IAT?

Hear from our Teachers:

Hear from our Raising Achievement Officers and Assistant Teachers:

Current Teacher - Eryn Morton (Princes Risborough School)

Being an ex-student, Princes Risborough School has always been close to my heart, I would not be where I am today without the support of my ex teachers and now my fellow colleagues across the trust. I started my career as a teacher at Princes Risborough and am ecstatic that I am continuing my journey.

I am beyond grateful for the support that Princes Risborough and the IAT have given me since I have started here.

Princes Risborough School is an exciting place to work, no day is the same. The students are offered so many different opportunities which the staff can be a part of. I feel lucky to work in a school with great staff as well as amazing students.

Current Teacher - Katy Bisset (The Kingsbrook School)

I've been teaching Science since 2011, starting with my NQT year at PRS and moving to my current role as Head of Science at TKS when we opened in 2022. During this time, I've been supported by these schools and the trust: from the beginning of my journey as a teacher, through maternity leaves, taking on further responsibility, flexible working and in realising some of my career aspirations into middle leadership; as well as being given time to volunteer outside of school as a Chair of Governors for one of our feeder schools.

Opening a brand new school was much more difficult than, I think, any of us expected it to be! However, working with wonderful students and a supportive, experienced and collegiate staff body has been invaluable experience and incredibly rewarding. I know that wherever my future takes me, my experiences with IAT have helped me on my career path.

Current Teacher - Emily Colebrook (Princes Risborough School)

I started my journey of teaching in mainstream education at PRS and have been thrilled to remain here since the start of that process. The support as both a trainee and ECT teacher has been immeasurable and I am so grateful for this.

Every day at PRS is exciting and we are able to offer so many opportunities for our students to engage with, both within the curriculum and as extra-curricular opportunities. I am so pleased to work in a school surrounded by such an excellent team, as well as wonderful students.

Current Teacher - Adele Bradley (The Kingsbrook School)

This is my seventh year of working at Insignis, initially at Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School and now at The Kingsbrook School (TKS). Working at TKS is incredibly exciting, the students are excellent, the staff here all work very closely together and it is a great school in which to further develop my leadership skills. I have learned a lot working as a Lead Practitioner alongside others not only in the school but across the trust. Thanks to the great team here, my confidence has grown immensely and I'm looking forward to taking my next step into senior leadership."

Current Teacher - Hannah Davis (The Kingsbrook School)

I have been teaching since 2008, I joined PRS after a brief time outside of teaching, it was a welcome return to the profession.  PRS embodies the supportive nature of the schools within our trust, it was here that I was able to find my love of the profession once more, whilst also allowing me to further flourish into middle leadership.

In 2022 I joined our newly opened school TKS.  Through this incredibly rewarding but also difficult process I have been well supported in my move to Head of Humanities, working alongside incredibly knowledgeable and experienced colleagues.  My time at IAT has given me many opportunities and it is very rewarding to collaborate regularly across trust.
