Well-Being across the trust

At Insignis Academy Trust, we prioritize the well-being of our staff and students. We believe that a healthy and happy school environment is essential for fostering a positive learning experience. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that everyone feels supported and valued, creating a sense of community and belonging.

We understand the importance of mental health and well-being in the workplace. We provide various resources and support systems to help our staff maintain a healthy work-life balance.

By prioritizing well-being across the trust, we aim to create a positive and productive environment where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential.

Well-Being Lead - Ali Arber

Our Well-Being Lead's primary aim is to support each Insignis member of staff at an individual level, recognising that their wellbeing, encompassing the physical, emotional, and mental aspects, is a cornerstone of fostering a healthy Trust environment. In the realm of education, where our staff expertly juggle an array of tasks and demands, it's paramount that everyone receives the necessary emotional and practical support.

Should you or a colleague ever encounter any challenges impacting wellbeing, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Well-Being Lead; Ali Arber at aarber@insignis.org.uk.

Together, we will nurture a culture of wellbeing, ensuring that each member of our Trust community thrives both personally and professionally.

Education Support

Every Insignis Academy Trust member of staff has 24/7 access to Education Support.

Education Support have been supporting teachers and education staff wellbeing for 146 years. They are the only UK charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of teachers and education staff in schools.

Well-Being Champions

We have Well-Being Champions in all our schools. They provide a link from our Well-Being lead, sharing good practise and promoting various aspects of mental health and how our staff can look out for each other on a day to day basis.

Mental Health First Aid training with MIND FIRST UK

All of our Headteachers, Heads of School and Senior leaders are trained in Mental Health First Aid.  The training is a rolling programme and will continue to make sure we are correctly supporting the staff across our schools.

We listen to our staff

Insignis Academy Trust rolls out a Well-Being survey every year so that we can gain feedback from our staff.
