 School Vision

If a young person develops excellent character, they will achieve and flourish in all that they do in their future.

Overview

The Kingsbrook School is a co-educational secondary school with a pupil admission number of 180 for years 7 – 11 and 100 for years 12 and 13. TKS has a dedicated Additional Resource Unit  that caters for students with a range of Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues. We have named this provision as The ARC. The ARC is currently resourced for 32 students when full.  The school opened as part of Insignis Academy Trust in September 2022. The school community has the exciting opportunity to grow and develop each year as the school grows.

OFSTED Rating

In June 2022 TKS had a successful pre-opening OFSTED inspection to ensure we were prepared to accept students in September 2022. We are not expected to have a graded OFSTED inspection until 2026 at the earliest.
